Miriam Perestelo highlights the Cabildo's support for the Island's business and commercial sector through this new edition of the fair, which brings together almost fifty businesses.\u00a0<\/h4>

The La Palma Business and Trade Fair, promoted by the Cabildo de La Palma, through the Department of Trade and the public company Sodepal, and in collaboration with the Town Council of Los Llanos de Aridane, opened its doors this Friday, 12th April, at the Llano Tesa football pitch in Los Llanos de Aridane.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/div>

Miriam Perestelo, the island's head of Trade and Economic Promotion and CEO of Sodepal, has highlighted the support of the Island Corporation to the business and commercial sector of the Island and, in particular, of the Aridane Valley, which requires further reinforcement to face the complicated situation it is going through due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the Tajogaite volcano.\u00a0<\/p>

Miriam Perestelo defends the fact that she has worked hand in hand with the sector to set up this initiative, which is being reinvented this year and which seeks to put local commerce at the centre, which is one of the cornerstones of the economy of La Palma and the creation of jobs.\u00a0<\/p>

In addition, the councillor mentioned that this is an important fair for the commercial sector of the island of La Palma, thanking the collaboration of the entire commercial sector, \"which has always been willing to implement various actions that benefit the commercial sector of the island\".<\/p>

Miriam Perestelo stressed that \"they are the real driving force and generator of employment on the island\".<\/p>

For his part, the mayor of the municipality, Javier Llamas, stressed the importance of the self-employed and businesses as drivers of the economy. In this sense, he showed the support and the outstretched hand of the Town Hall of Los Llanos \"to hold events of this category when and where they are needed\".<\/p>

The new edition of this event, which brings together almost fifty businesses on the Island, can be visited until Sunday 14th April, where those who attend can enjoy a wide variety of activities as part of the fair programme, aimed at the whole family, as well as a gastronomic area to sample products from different companies on the Island.\u00a0<\/p>

The meeting will last for a total of 25 hours, during which the promotion of the participating businesses will be promoted and consumption will be encouraged by means of raffles of 4,000 euros in shopping vouchers to be reinvested in the businesses.\u00a0<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
