This initiative, financed through the European Union Operational Programme and the Canary Islands ERDF Programme 2021-2027, seeks to provide the local business fabric with innovative tools to optimise its presence in the market.<\/p><p>Miriam Perestelo, Councillor for Trade and Digital Transformation of the La Palma Island Council and CEO of Sodepal, stresses that this project will allow local businesses to make a qualitative leap forward, facilitating their access to advanced technological solutions and promoting greater interconnection within the sector. \"Our aim is to promote a more accessible and dynamic commerce, adapted to the new digital requirements. This transformation is key to the economic development of the island and is a priority for this government group\", Perestelo underlines.<\/p><p>Among the planned actions, an island map of commerce will be created, developed through an innovative web platform that will serve as a digital directory of businesses on the island. This space will allow businesses to increase their visibility, connect with their clientele and establish synergies with each other. In addition, the platform will include a training section and key resources for the sector, thus reinforcing access to strategic information and best practices.<\/p><p>As part of this initiative, 30 companies with a minimum level of digital maturity will be selected in a first phase to receive personalised advice to optimise their technological transformation.
