The fair also strengthens gastronomic ties with other regions, welcoming three special guests, with representatives from Tenerife, one from Fuerteventura, and the presence of Salimat Galicia.<\/p><p>The mayor of Los Llanos de Aridane, Javier Llamas, thanked the Cabildo de La Palma and Sodepal for choosing the municipality to hold this event, which \"is a meeting point to highlight the island's gastronomy\".<\/p><p>Along the same lines, the president of Saborea Espa\u00f1a, Susi D\u00edaz, emphasised that this fair is a portal for the presentation and simulation of the island's products, and congratulated the island corporation for the initiative, which allows the sector to \"get its act together\". \"The evolution of gastronomy and the potential of La Palma is evident,\" she remarked.\u00a0<\/p><p>The exhibition space is designed to offer a variety of dynamic experiences with a tasting and experience area; a Professional Business Meetings area to promote alliances in the primary and catering sector; an area for presentations by the Canary Islands Institute of Agri-food Quality, and a Children's area for the enjoyment of the youngest visitors.<\/p><p>At the same time, the 'Come La Palma' conference on the hotel and catering industry is being held, with debates, showcookings and competitions, with a programme of talks, round tables and the presence of prestigious figures in the world of cuisine.<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sergio Rodr\u00edguez stresses that this event is a celebration of the identity, flavours and history of La Palma.
