The meeting, which will take place on 7 and 8 November, aims to improve the competitiveness of companies and enhance their strengths and opportunities.<\/h4>

The Cabildo de La Palma, in collaboration with the Town Council of El Paso, is launching the second edition of the Islainnova Congress, to be held on 7 and 8 November in the municipality.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/div>

The Councillor for Business Promotion and CEO of Sodepal, Miriam Perestelo, inaugurated this key meeting for the business sector of La Palma together with the Mayor of El Paso, Eloy Mart\u00edn, and the Director General of Trade and Consumer Affairs, David Mille.<\/p>

Miriam Perestelo stressed that IslaInnova \"was born with the vocation of accompanying our business community in continuous improvement, offering them tools, training and inspiration to face the new challenges of the market\".\u00a0<\/p>

\"We want to improve the competitiveness of our companies and enhance our strengths and opportunities\", added the councillor, who pointed out that this second edition \"consolidates a project that focuses on innovation, digitalisation, collaboration and sustainability as fundamental pillars for the economic growth of La Palma\".<\/p>

For his part, the mayor, Eloy Mart\u00edn, defended the government team's commitment to innovation as an engine of growth. \"We believe that the future of our companies lies in incorporating technology, sustainability and collaboration as fundamental pillars to continue progressing towards a more solid and competitive local economy,\" he said.\u00a0<\/p>

The new event will be attended by the renowned populariser Pedro Mujica, who will offer practical tips on how to take advantage of the potential of AI without the need to be an expert.<\/p>

The programme will also include round table debates, which will bring together institutional and business representatives to analyse public policies and programmes to promote trade, as well as the challenges facing the self-employed and companies in the future of work in the Canary Islands. These sessions are consolidated as spaces for reflection on the present and future of the island's economic fabric.<\/p>

In addition, the event continues to promote the role of women in business and innovation, with the Mujeres que inspiran (Women who inspire) space, in which the island's leading female entrepreneurs will share their experiences on leadership, work-life balance and business vision. Cases such as Natalia Bazar, Casa Aurora and Nina's Complementos will reflect the strength of female talent on La Palma and their contribution to local economic development.<\/p>

On the other hand, there will be presentations by leading figures from the business and motivational fields, such as Jos\u00e9 Tom\u00e1s Rodr\u00edguez de Paz, with his vision on engineering and transformative innovation; C\u00e9sar Garc\u00eda Rodr\u00edguez, who will explain the formula for entrepreneurship; and Laura Cantizano, who invites the public to discover how to activate the emotion of buying in less than a minute.<\/p>

The programme will also focus on internationalisation, communication and leadership, with speakers such as David Labrador and Antonio de la Ossa, followed by a new edition of the Business Experience, which will pay tribute to historic companies on the island such as Iriarte La Palma and Panader\u00eda y Boller\u00eda Buenavista SCP, an example of perseverance and deep-rootedness.<\/p>

The closing will be in charge of the coach and speaker Pedro Garc\u00eda Aguado, who will bring the event to a close with an inspiring talk on innovation, emotion and entrepreneurship, highlighting the importance of attitude towards change.<\/p>
