Second place went to 'Mi bolso dorado' and third place to 'Librería Iriarte'.
The Isla Bonita Love Festival, managed by the public company Sodepal of the Cabildo de La Palma, announces that Calzados Las Magnolias, located in San Pedro, Breña Alta, has won first place in the new edition of the shop window competition.
Second place went to Mi bolso dorado, in Los Llanos de Aridane, and third place went to Librería Iriarte, in San Andrés y Sauces, an establishment that has been open to the public for 75 years.
The jury in charge of evaluating the shop windows was made up of César Rodrigo, Mercedes Vassou, Mercedes Afonso and Abián Calero. The people who made up the jury highlighted the creativity, originality and effort of those who took part, underlining the importance of these competitions for boosting local commerce and attracting visitors.
During the awards ceremony, the CEO of Sodepal, Miriam Perestelo, stressed that the Isla Bonita Love Festival continues to be a cultural and economic engine for the island, encouraging not only the participation of local traders but also the community spirit.
"This initiative has been very well received and we have been able to see the quality of the shop windows that have been presented to the competition, I would like to congratulate those who have won, as well as the rest of the participants and thank them for their effort and commitment", said the councillor.
