The registration period for the Transvulcania 2025 is now open.

Those interested can sign up from Thursday, 22 August, through the official website of the event.

The Cabildo de La Palma, through the public company Sodepal directed by Miriam Perestelo, has opened the registration period for the next edition of Transvulcania, which will be held on May 10th, being the fifteenth edition since its beginning in 2009. Those interested can sign up from Thursday, 22nd August, through the event's website www.transvulcania.com

The Cabildo continues to work to ensure that this event recovers the uniqueness that once positioned it at an international level thanks to the involvement of the citizens of La Palma in the event and the participation of renowned runners from the world of trail running.

In this new edition, Adidas Terrex will continue to be the main sponsor, which means an outstanding image at an international level. In addition, this alliance implies an unprecedented support to the race, which has allowed a qualitative leap in the attention to the runner and the community of La Palma.

Those who wish to do so can register for the different modalities of the Transvulcania, such as the ultramarathon, with a distance of 73 kilometres and with the famous start at the Faro de Fuencaliente lighthouse, the marathon, which has a distance of 43 kilometres, the half marathon, of 24 kilometres, and the vertical kilometre, which has a distance of seven kilometres.

Another of the traditional modalities of the Transvulcania are the races for children, who from pre-benjamins to juniors can start enjoying the race at the Refugio del Pilar.
