The race organisers met with representatives of the island's teams, who made suggestions and showed their willingness to actively collaborate in different logistical tasks for the event.
The Transvulcania adidas Terrex held a meeting with a prominent representation of the island's trail clubs. The aim of this meeting was to actively listen to the event organisers' suggestions and proposals for improvements in preparation for the next edition of the event, to be held in May.
The chosen venue was the Benahoarita Archaeological Museum, which served as a means for the organisers and the organisational team to exchange proposals with the aim of making Transvulcania bigger. In addition to resolving the doubts raised, some new features were also announced for an edition that is expected to be very special, as it is the fifteenth anniversary of the event.
At the meeting, which was attended by the CEO of Sodepal, Miriam Perestelo; the Councillor for Sports, Yurguen Hernández, and the Mayor of Los Llanos de Aridane, Javier Llamas, the clubs also showed their willingness to collaborate in the various logistical tasks associated with a top level and highly complex event such as this, such as preparing the runner's bag, volunteers for refreshments, and end of race tasks, among others, without whose collaboration an event of this calibre could not be carried out.
The CEO of Sodepal, Miriam Perestelo, highlighted the fundamental importance of the involvement of the island's athletes and clubs in the organisation and evolution of the event. Their commitment, effort and collaboration have been key to strengthening its identity and guaranteeing its continuity. Thanks to their active participation, this event continues to grow and consolidate itself as a sporting benchmark.
For his part, the Councillor for Sports, Yurguen Hernández, emphasised the role that the clubs in Palmas play in security tasks during the different disciplines, allowing for closer collaboration with the participants, as no one better than another athlete can understand the needs at each moment of the event.
