La Palma Artesanía presents its new Urdimbre Collection in the Mencey Fashion Room

The event will take place on the 13th, 14th and 15th at the Iberostar Heritage Grand Mencey in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The La Palma Artesanía project, managed by the public company Sodepal, will take part on 13, 14 and 15 June in the 13th edition of the Mencey Fashion Room, a benchmark event in the field of fashion, design and craftsmanship in the Canary Islands, held at the Iberostar Heritage Grand Mencey, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

In this new edition, La Palma Artesanía will share space with established and emerging brands in a concept store environment that combines fashion, accessories, decoration and handmade products. Within this framework, the project will unveil its latest creative proposal: the Urdimbre Collection, a selection of exclusive pieces made by artisans from the island, featuring traditional techniques such as weaving and macramé, adapted to new market trends.

The CEO of Sodepal, Miriam Perestelo, points out that "our presence at an event like the Mencey Fashion Room reinforces the positioning of La Palma Artesanía as a brand committed to innovation while respecting tradition. We are committed to giving visibility to the work of our artisans and to showing that handmade products are of incalculable value and fully up to date".

For his part, the Councillor for Crafts, Pablo Díaz Cobiella, stresses that participation in this type of initiative "is fundamental for projecting the crafts of La Palma outside our island, in a context where creative work, sustainability and authenticity are valued. The Urdimbre Collection reflects precisely a connection between the past and the present of our artisan culture".

The Mencey Fashion Room is an established event, which every year attracts thousands of visitors interested in the latest trends in design and handicraft. The timetable for the event will be Friday 13th June from 17:00 to 20:00 hours; Saturday 14th; from 11:00 to 20:00 hours, and Sunday 15th; from 11:00 to 18:00 hours.

With this participation, La Palma Artesanía continues to strengthen its presence on the regional scene, committed to quality, cultural identity and the emotional value of its creations.
