Nine firms associated with Isla Bonita Moda take to the catwalk FUTUR ADLIB IBIZA in its new edition.

The alliance between the Adlib Ibiza and Isla Bonita Moda labels was consolidated this weekend with an outstanding presence of Palmeros designers at the FUTUR ADLIB 2025 catwalk show, held last Friday 6th June in the courtyard of the church of Sant Miquel de Balansat. This new collaboration reaffirmed the commitment of both territories to creativity, craftsmanship and local talent, strengthening the projection of the islands' fashion in a space for cultural and professional exchange.

Under a collaborative and multidisciplinary vision, nine creatives from the Isla Bonita Moda programme - Diazar Atelier, BAN, Lepa Punca, Shamelu, Sara Luis Joyas, Rayco Plata, Julia Brito, Waleska Morin and Mararte - presented their collections on the FUTUR ADLIB 2025 catwalk, projecting their full potential in a strategic market that brings the two islands together through their creators and great shared values such as craftsmanship, sustainability and love for their identity.

In the words of Miriam Perestelo, Councillor for Economic Promotion of the Cabildo Insular de La Palma and CEO of SODEPAL, "from the Cabildo Insular de La Palma we are deeply proud of the brilliant role played by the nine firms of Isla Bonita Moda in the prestigious Futur Adlib Ibiza 2025 catwalk. Their participation, once again, reaffirms the talent, creativity and transformative force that is born on our island, projecting itself abroad with its own identity and character. This achievement is not only a recognition of the tireless work of our creators, but also a tangible example of how fashion can become a driving force for economic promotion, projection abroad and enhancement of our artisan traditions. The combination of innovation and roots that defines Isla Bonita Moda is also a reflection of the commitment that SODEPAL and the Cabildo de La Palma promote on a daily basis: to support creative entrepreneurship, strengthen the local industry and build bridges to new markets and opportunities".

Designers and collections

Diazar Atelier: SIWA SWIMWEAR COLLECTION. An oasis of design.

The alliance between Diazar Atelier, BAN's handcrafted leather goods and Lepa Punca's signature jewellery resulted in a deeply evocative capsule collection: SIWA SWIMWEAR COLLECTION. Inspired by the Siwa oasis, the proposal was immersed in a sensory experience to transfer the nature, serenity and strength of the desert to textiles, leather and jewellery. Sand tones, geometric motifs and hand embroidery composed an aesthetic narrative that reclaimed design as a language.

The project is based on a sensitive approach, fashion as a channel of cultural transmission and craftsmanship as a form of rootedness in the territory and its rhythms.

Rayco Plata + Julia Brito: L'Estasi, sculpture made body.

Designer Rayco Plata, in collaboration with Julia Brito, presented L'Estasi, a capsule collection inspired by the Italian Renaissance. Ethereal forms, fabrics that evoked movement and the angelic sensuality of classical sculpture were translated into pieces that enveloped the body with fluidity, highlighting the natural beauty of gesture and anatomy. A work that united art, history and design with profound sensitivity.

Sara Luis Joyas: BOMBYX MORI, the art of the invisible.

With the BOMBYX MORI collection, Sara Luis Joyas paid homage to the spinners of El Paso and the silent work of the silkworm. Inspired by metamorphosis and the fragility that transforms into legacy, each piece captured an instant stopped in time. This collection was not worn, it was honoured: it represented the power of the essential, the invisible memory and technique elevated to art.

Shamelu: SIJAK, a new beginning.

The designer behind Shamelu presented SIJAK: INICIO, a swimwear collection that represented a new chapter in her creative universe. Inspired by traditional Asian fashion and reinterpreted with modern codes, the collection combined geometric and organic shapes in a visual language that conveyed intentional chaos and fluidity. The return of the signature print, handcrafted jewellery by Mararte and footwear by Ban completed a proposal that celebrated the duality between past and present.

Waleska Morin: a symphony of colour and form inspired by Ensor.

The firm Waleska Morin immersed itself in an artistic and profound inspiration, where the chromatic palette of the painter James Ensor enveloped a collection charged with visual symbolism. The asymmetrical garments, the cut-out cuts and the floral explosion in all its forms turned this proposal into a vivid portrait of the artist's universe and his most famous work. Inspired by the art of ballet and period musicals, the designs celebrated movement, colour and expressiveness. Pinks, yellows, whites and other warm tones danced in the sun like a melody through time.

About Adlib Ibiza

Since 1971, the island of Ibiza has been the source of inspiration for a unique way of conceiving fashion, with a philosophy based on respect for the environment and the concept of slow fashion. A seal of craftsmanship that has come a long way since more than 50 years ago, when the first hippies took the island's traditional clothing and fused it with fabrics and styles from all over the world. Today, Ibizan fashion has carved out a niche for itself, inspiring the best designers and bringing together both men's and women's proposals.
