Miriam Perestelo highlights the "high level of participation" and thanks "the interest and work of the business sector in this initiative".
The Cabildo de La Palma, through the public company Sodepal, directed by councillor Miriam Perestelo, announced the winners of the Lustral Fest La Palma 2025 Shop Window Competition, with the first place going to the company Calzados Las Magnolias, from Santa Cruz de La Palma, which won 800 euros and two tickets to the Lustral Fest La Palma 2025 concert as prizes.
The Councillor for Trade and Economic Promotion of the Cabildo, Miriam Perestelo, highlights the "high participation" of the different commercial establishments on the island, and also thanks "the interest and work of the business sector in this initiative".
"This type of activity fosters visibility and dynamism within the commercial sphere, which is beneficial both for the business itself and for the island's economy", adds the councillor.
The jury, made up of Alba Pérez, César Rodríguez, Maira Riverol and Van Marty, assessed the creativity, originality and staging of the shop windows participating in this edition.
The second prize went to Librería La Estrella, located in Breña Alta. This shop will receive 500 euros and two tickets for the musical event. The third prize went to Yeray Ferrer Mercería y Complementos, from San Andrés y Sauces, receiving 300 euros and two general admission tickets.
Finally, in the category of Popular Vote, where the "likes" on the official social networks of La Palma es Comercio were counted, the most voted proposal was that of Sauvage Coffee Shop, in Tazacorte. This company has been awarded with 200 euros and two tickets for the concert.
This year's edition has made it possible to visit a total of seven municipalities on the island, highlighting not only the efforts of the participating companies, but also the environment in which they are located and the role they play in their community. Each showcase has been an opportunity to showcase local commerce, its identity and its connection with its immediate surroundings.
The Cabildo Insular de La Palma would like to thank all the establishments that, once again, have demonstrated their commitment to commercial promotion and their efforts to give visibility to the local business fabric. Their creativity and dedication have contributed significantly to the festive atmosphere of the Lustral Fest.
