Councillor Miriam Perestelo stresses that this fair will become a point of reference for the sector.
The Cabildo de La Palma, through the Society for Economic and Social Promotion and Development of La Palma (SODEPAL), is working on the organisation of the 1st Health, Beauty and Wellness Fair. The event will take place on the 5th and 6th of September at the Casa de la Cultura in Los Llanos de Aridane, with the triple aim of promoting healthy lifestyle habits, giving visibility to the self-care sector and promoting the local business fabric.
The Councillor for Economic Promotion and CEO of Sodepal, Miriam Perestelo, stresses that this new initiative, which has the support of the Town Council of Los Llanos de Aridane and the business associations ACZA and ZCA, will offer the public a full programme of talks, workshops, exhibitions and an exhibition area dedicated to holistic wellbeing.
For his part, the mayor of Los Llanos de Aridane, Javier Llamas, stresses the importance of holding the 1st Health, Beauty and Wellness Fair in the municipality. "We would like to thank the Cabildo, through Sodepal, for its commitment to initiatives like this. Events of this type not only raise the profile of a booming sector such as self-care, with the participation of numerous entrepreneurs, but also generate a positive impact on the entire socio-economic fabric of the municipality", he points out.
The fair will be structured in three different areas to offer a complete experience. The first will be a lecture area, dedicated to talks on physical and mental health, nutrition, beauty and emotional wellbeing, given by experts in the sector. The second will be for exhibitions, where practical activities such as yoga, pilates or crossfit sessions will be held, allowing attendees to actively participate. Finally, there will be a space with stands for the promotion and marketing of products and services of the participating companies.
Miriam Perestelo points out that the call is open to a wide range of professionals and companies in the sector, including hairdressers, make-up artists, nutritionists, physiotherapists, personal trainers, massage therapists, beauty centres, among others.
Registration for exhibitors is now open until 17 August via the following link https://sodepal.es/feria-de-salud-belleza-y-bienestar and will be managed on a first-come, first-served basis until full capacity is reached.
The rules of participation are available at www.sodepal.es, where the full programme of the event will also be published shortly.
The opening hours of the fair will be Friday 5 September from 12:00 to 21:00 and Saturday 6 September from 10:00 to 14:00.
Finally, Miriam Perestelo indicates that this new event is expected to become a key meeting point for the sector and a point of reference for all those interested in personal wellbeing on the island.
