Almost 6,000 visitors reinforce the celebration of the La Palma Business and Trade Fair

It was held last weekend in Los Llanos de Aridane and was attended by fifty shops and food businesses.

The La Palma Business and Trade Fair, promoted by the Cabildo of La Palma, through the Department of Trade and the public company Sodepal, and in collaboration with the Town Council of Los Llanos de Aridane, closed its doors after welcoming almost 6,000 visitors to the marquee set up on the Llano Tesa football pitch in Los Llanos de Aridane.

The attractive commercial offer made it possible for visitors to also enjoy gastronomy, cultural leisure, a variety of activities and collaborations with schools such as the IES Pérez Pulido, promoting its cycles linked to commerce and advertising.

In addition to children's shows, music and games, the activities attracted audiences of different ages.

In terms of sales, more than 11,000 tickets were handed out for purchases, which also gave attendees the option of participating in a prize draw for 4,000 euros in consumer vouchers.

Miriam Perestelo, the island's head of Trade and Economic Promotion and CEO of Sodepal, emphasised the island corporation's support for the island's business and commercial sector. Likewise, the councillor defends the fact that she has worked hand in hand with the sector to set up this initiative, which is being reinvented this year and which seeks to put local commerce at the centre, which is one of the cornerstones of the economy of La Palma and the creation of jobs.
