Chanel, first artist confirmed for the Isla Bonita Love Festival macro concert

Tickets for this concert, part of an event that promotes diversity, are already on sale at tomaticket.es.

The Cabildo de La Palma, through the public company Sodepal, announces the first artists who will make up the line-up of the Isla Bonita Love Festival. Among them, the Spanish-Cuban Chanel, who with her overwhelming live performance will thrill the audience at the Puerto de Tazacorte venue on 27 July.

The president of the Cabildo de La Palma, Sergio Rodríguez, stresses that this is the first confirmation, which will be added to top international artists to be announced in the coming days, and which will reinforce the message of promoting the Isla Bonita Love Festival.

In this sense, Sergio Rodríguez stresses that Chanel represents values such as respect, coexistence, as well as the defence of people being who they want and love freely.

Chanel, winner of 'Benidorm Fest 2022' and representative of Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest that same year, conquered the country with 'Slomo' and has now established herself as a recognised artist with the release of her first album.

Water!' places her as one of the most outstanding artists on the current scene, as well as demonstrating her versatility with pop songs, bachata, reggaeton and even a ballad, all accompanied by a light show and choreography.

Along with the Eurovisiva Chanel, the names of the young artists who will be present on 27 July in the context of the celebration of the festival for diversity and free love have been announced. Kingdom and Orribo from La Palma will also join the festival's line-up.

Promoting freedom

The Love Festival is a well-established event in the island's calendar and serves as an international reference, focusing on celebrating the diversity of gender identities and expressions; the creation of an inclusive and respectful space; the defence of rights and opportunities for all people, and promotes freedom of expression and individual rights.

Under these premises, the Cabildo de La Palma, through the public company Sodepal, is working on the design of an extensive programme of activities in favour of the LGBTI community, which, as every year, will end with a music festival to be held in the port of Tazacorte.

Miriam Perestelo stresses that the essence of this project, which is based on the right of everyone to love and feel in freedom, regardless of our sexual condition, is a fight for respect and equality in which the whole of society must feel committed".

Similarly, Miria Perestelo stresses that work is underway to finalise the programme of activities for the Social Week, which will soon be announced.
