La Palma's signature design comes to the catwalk of Atelier Couture Madrid.
Once again, Diazar Atelier, the fashion brand associated with the Isla Bonita Moda label, a fashion programme promoted by the Cabildo Insular de La Palma through Sodepal, presents its new bridal, party and ceremony collection 2025-2026 in the incomparable setting of the Atelier Couture Madrid catwalk, during the 13ᵃ edition during the official week of Madrid Fashion Week. In this very special edition, the catwalk celebrates its 10th anniversary, and the shows will take place in the emblematic space of La Real Fábrica de Tapices de Madrid, a place that adds history and art to this vibrant fashion event.
The collection presented, entitled ADAMAS - Άδάμας BRIDAL & COUTURE COLLECTION - 2025/2026, is a tribute, like all of the brand's collections, to women, their abilities and their strength. Taking as an inspirational element and playing as if it were a metaphor, the main inspiration of the collection focuses on the diamond: the most precious gemstone, symbol of luxury, eternity and strength. Since ancient times, the diamond has been admired for its durability and brilliance, representing power and distinction. This new Diazar Atelier proposal for parties and ceremonies seeks to capture the purity, brilliance and sophistication of diamonds, materialising them in exclusive designs that celebrate feminine elegance and distinction.
A Craftsmanship and Avant-Garde Design from La Palma
ADAMAS - Άδάμας BRIDAL & COUTURE COLLECTION - 2025/2026 fuses couture tradition with a contemporary and responsible look. With structured silhouettes, dramatic volumes and flowing falls contrasting with tight-fitting corsetry, the geometric and luminous perfection of the diamond is explored through cuts and details that evoke the refraction of light, such as the layering of skirts and overskirts that simulate the sparkle of crystal. Strategically arranged crystal embroidery reflects light in a unique way, while satin and metallic fabrics in silver and white gold provide sparkles that emulate the cut of a diamond.
The collection has been made entirely in the firm's own workshop on the island of La Palma, a natural paradise where tradition, innovation and respect for the environment merge. In this space, unique pieces are created that add exclusivity to the garment, in which the work methodology is based on the basic pillars of traditional dressmaking, making use of artisan techniques but applied in an avant-garde and innovative way.
Author's complements that elevate the proposal
The collection is also enriched by the collaboration of designers of signature accessories such as Sara Luis, Lepa Punca and BAN (Juan Manuel Simón), partners of the Isla Bonita Moda label. These signature accessories add an extra dimension to the total looks of Άδάμας (ADAMAS), reinforcing the idea of exclusivity and unique style. Each signature piece not only complements the design of the garment, but also represents another piece of the island's rich artisanal culture.
From La Palma to Madrid: A journey of handcrafted design to the Fashion Capital
For Diazar Atelier, participating in Atelier Couture Madrid is one of the most awaited events of the season. This catwalk has established itself as a national and international benchmark for designer brands, and for Diazar Atelier, this is the perfect opportunity to present its proposal from such an emblematic place as Madrid, the capital of fashion. The firm from La Palma, which firmly maintains its commitment to craftsmanship and local production, makes the leap to this national catwalk with international character with a collection that celebrates the beauty of tradition without neglecting the demands of contemporary fashion.
RESEE of the Άδάμας Collection (ADAMAS): A close and exclusive encounter
After the presentation of the fashion show, Diazar Atelier, together with the Isla Bonita Moda label and the BTeam Comunicación team, is organising an exclusive RESEE, where attendees will be able to get a closer look at each of the pieces that make up the Άδάμας (ADAMAS) collection. This event will offer a unique experience, in which the working methodology, craft techniques and stories behind each design will be highlighted, revealing the art and the process behind the creation of these unique pieces.
The Councillor for Economic Promotion and CEO of Sodepal, Miriam Perestelo, said that "Isla Bonita Moda is proud to see the talent of our creators shine on a platform such as Atelier Couture Madrid, which allows us to showcase the talent and creativity of our designers, while reinforcing the presence of the Canary Islands in the international fashion world". Diazar's participation, and that of other firms belonging to the collective, "opens doors to new opportunities and collaborations on a national and international level," she said. "This is a clear example of the potential that La Palma has in the creative and business sphere, and from the Department of Economic Promotion we are committed to continue promoting initiatives that promote the visibility and growth of our brands", he concluded.
Jonathan Diaz, creative director of Diazar Atelier, shares his enthusiasm for participating again in Atelier Couture. "For us, this catwalk is an invaluable opportunity to showcase the essence of our brand. Presenting our collection in Madrid, the capital of fashion, allows us to connect with a global audience, from clients to distributors, who value the signature design and craftsmanship that define us". The designer stresses that "this proposal is a tribute to women through an inspiration that is used as an excuse. What matters is the attitude it seeks to generate in those who wear one of the garments. It is also a recognition of the artisan tradition of La Palma, of the hands that create traditional tailoring. Each garment of Άδάμας (ADAMAS) reflects our passion for handmade couture, fused with a contemporary vision that celebrates femininity and luxury in a responsible and unique way".
