The Runner's Fair will be integrated into the trail section of this Insular Sports Fair, which will also have a strong gastronomic area.
The 15th anniversary of Transvulcania adidas TERREX continues to unveil new features for its most special edition. Within this framework, Sport Experience has been presented, a new concept that will host the first Insular Sports Fair and that will be held at the Plaza Juan Pablo II in Los Llanos de Aridane, from Wednesday 7th to Saturday 10th May.
Sport Experience was created with the aim of opening the event to a wider public, bringing together exhibitors from various sports disciplines, specialised brands and activities aimed at all sports lovers. With this merger, the event consolidates itself as a reference not only for trail running, but for sport in general.
For its part, the Transvulcania Runner's Fair will continue to be the essential meeting point for participants and trail enthusiasts. As every year, it will offer runners the chance to pick up their race bibs, find out about the latest news in the sector and experience the excitement prior to the great sporting event. The bib pick-up point will be open from Wednesday 7 to Friday 9 May.
In addition to serving as the epicentre of trail and island sport, Sport Experience will offer talks, live sporting exhibitions of different modalities and interactive experiences, allowing attendees to discover new trends, try innovative products and share their passion in a unique atmosphere, as well as having a powerful gastronomic area with products from the island.
With this evolution, the Transvulcania Running Fair not only maintains its essence, but also expands to turn La Palma into the epicentre of sport during these days. The organisers invite all traders and restaurateurs interested in participating in the event to fill in the application form to apply for a stand and opt to take part in the event. The president of the Cabildo, Sergio Rodríguez, points out that the commitment to this Island Sports Fair allows to continue taking steps in the recovery of the event and the commitment to make the Island's society more involved.
The Transvulcania adidas TERREX is organised by the Cabildo Insular de La Palma and the public company SODEPAL, with the support of the Government of the Canary Islands, through the sponsorship of Promotur Turismo de Canarias, as well as the companies 226ERS, Hotel H10 Taburiente Playa, Hotel La Palma Princess, Hotel Meliá La Palma, Fred.
