The Cabildo de La Palma reinforces competitiveness and business innovation with the second edition of the IslaInnova Congress

The Trade and Business Congress will bring together entrepreneurs, professionals and experts in the municipality of El Paso to share ideas, create synergies and strengthen the island's economic fabric.

The Cabildo de La Palma, through the public company Sodepal and with the collaboration of the El Paso Town Council, is organising the second edition of IslaInnova - Congress of Commerce and Business, to be held on 7 and 8 November in the Casa de la Cultura Braulio Martín Hernández.

The Councillor for Economic Promotion, Trade and Digital Transformation of the Cabildo and CEO of Sodepal, Miriam Perestelo, explains that "IslaInnova was created with the aim of accompanying our entrepreneurs in continuous improvement, offering them tools, training and inspiration to face the new challenges of the market".

Perestelo also stresses that "this second edition consolidates a project that focuses on innovation, digitalisation, collaboration and sustainability as fundamental pillars for the economic growth of La Palma".

The main objectives of the meeting are to offer useful tools to face the challenges of the sector, to improve the competitiveness of companies, and to enhance their strengths and opportunities. It also seeks to generate positive synergies between companies, workers and the self-employed, promoting a business culture based on cooperation, creativity and the generation of experiences.

IslaInnova is thus consolidated as a space for meeting, learning and connection, in which key issues for the economic future of La Palma will be addressed, such as digital transformation, applied innovation, economic diversification, business sustainability and strategies for competitive and sustainable growth.

During the two days, participants will be able to exchange ideas, create contact networks and learn about successful experiences and strategies that promote a more modern, dynamic and collaborative development of trade and business in La Palma.
