The Talent Camp is positioned as a unique opportunity to promote creativity among the youth of the island.

Miriam Perestelo highlights the business and institutional collaboration at the disposal of entrepreneurship.

The main result of last weekend's Talent Camp, organised by the Cabildo de La Palma through the public company Sodepal, was the creation of a space for synergies between young people on the island, who have managed to position themselves as a benchmark for entrepreneurship and innovation.

According to Miriam Perestelo, CEO of Sodepal, the young participants in the Talent Camp presented a dozen personalised reports to implement improvements in companies located in the urban area of San Andrés y Sauces, where the event was held.

This group of young people, students or graduates of training courses or university degrees, who have demonstrated throughout the camp the ability to contribute ideas for which they were previously selected, visited businesses in the commercial area before drawing up a study on aspects linked especially to digitalisation, visibility and graphic design in which these establishments can, in their opinion, introduce improvements that favour their competitiveness.

In this way, Miriam Perestelo informed that Sodepal "will monitor the proposed actions over the coming months", collaborating in their implementation in cases where these local companies want to take on the collaboration generated by these young people.

This talent camp, which is now in its third edition with an interest that has been increasing every year, also creates a network of contacts between the young people who have participated in the different editions, a factor that has already proven to be effective when it comes to entrepreneurship.

Miriam Perestelo also highlights the importance of coexistence and the exchange of knowledge among the participants in the Talent Camp, which each year has students from previous editions as ambassadors.
