Talks to raise awareness about the protection of our sky and how to observe the firmament, and a meeting to show the handling of telescopes, was the choice of the almost 60 people, in some cases families with children, who at some point participated in the activities planned during the "Telescope Meeting", held last Friday 27 September in the municipality of Puntallana. During this activity, the lights in the area around the Town Hall were switched off.
Event organised by the Sociedad de Promoción y Desarrollo Económico y Social de La Palma - SODEPAL and financed by the Tourism Department of the Cabildo de La Palma, with the collaboration of the Puntallana Town Council and framed within the AstroFest 2024.
