Between 29 June and 2 July 2023, the II Encuentro del Atlántico La Palma 2023 was held in Santa Cruz de La Palma. Among the activities that took place, the Junior Wingfoil 2023 World Championship was held in Santa Cruz de La Palma.

Other activities that took place during the II Encuentro del Atlántico La Palma 2023 were the II Diving Baptism and the Isla Bonita Regatta.
