Isla Bonita Moda arrives in Madrid with a unique artistic experience

The island's fashion label is presented at Madrid Fashion Week with a new proposal that promotes the island's emerging talent.

The Cabildo de La Palma, through the public company Sodepal and its label Isla Bonita Moda, arrives at the Madrid Fashion Week with a proposal that through the greatest emerging talents of our island, will offer a visual and sensory experience that celebrates the island's identity, innovation in the creative textile field and the attractive landscape of the territory through a staging of great creative impact.

Miriam Perestelo, Councillor for Economic Promotion and Trade of the Cabildo de La Palma and CEO of Sodepal, highlights what it means for La Palma to participate in events of such national and international importance. "From the Cabildo de La Palma we understand fashion not only as a creative industry, but also as a powerful tool for economic development, territorial cohesion and cultural projection", says the councillor.

In this sense, Perestelo also refers to the collaboration with the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME), stating that "participating in Madrid es Moda as a collaborating institution of ACME represents a strategic opportunity to showcase the emerging talent of our island and the rest of the archipelago in one of the main showcases of the sector".

Under the slogan 'The creative force of an island that inspires', Isla Bonita Moda proposes an emotional journey that goes far beyond a conventional fashion presentation, connecting from the roots and seeking to linger in the retina of the public through memorable images that position La Palma as a territory with its own voice on the Spanish fashion map.

The main objectives of this initiative are to give visibility to the fashion and accessories firms of the islands, to offer a platform for the projection of local talent and to build bridges between the creativity of La Palma and the main national fashion circuits. At the same time, the project seeks to generate a conversation about fashion with identity, local sustainability and the role of island regions as fertile spaces for innovation and cultural projection.

Of all the fashion firms associated with the Isla Bonita Moda label, those participating in this edition are: Adrienne, Alex Menorca, Atelier El Tesoro, Ban Artesanía en Cuero, Diazar Atelier, Gohemm, Julia Brito, Pedro Ferreiro, Pedro Juan, Rayco Plata, Sara Luis Joyas, Shamelu, Silvia Baly, Waleska Morín.
