This concert put the finishing touch to the III edition of the festival 'La Palma Blue Experience'.
International rhythms took place this Saturday in the Municipal Stadium of Breña Alta to enjoy the vibrant live performance of Juanes and the Stars of Buenavista +.
The concert, part of the La Palma Blue Experience festival, began after 19:30 when the members of the Estrellas de Buenavista + took to the stage to welcome the audience.
The musical group delighted with a recital of Cuban rhythms, covering among others the famous song "Chan Chan". Their voices and musicality connected with the island audience, who did not stop dancing from the first note to the last.
After this opening performance, which kicked off a great night, Juanes, who had not been on the beautiful island since 2007, took the stage.
The Colombian artist greeted the audience 18 years after his last visit to the island, starting his performance to the rhythm of "Mala Gente".
Their dynamic live show continued with a wide repertoire that included some of their classics such as "La camisa negra", "Volverte a ver" and "Me enamora".
The audience had the opportunity to sing along to songs such as "Gotas de agua", "Fotografía" and "Nada valgo sin tu amor"; an opportunity that was not wasted.
During the concert, Juanes confessed to the audience that "on this island there is a lot of peace".
The vibrant energy and the warmth of the Palmero audience created a magical atmosphere in a night that will be difficult to forget, due to the great show that was experienced.
The president of the Cabildo de La Palma, Sergio Rodríguez, did not hesitate to point out that "it was a wonderful concert that captivated the audience immediately from the beginning to the end". He also said about Juanes: "He is a great artist, and it was a real luxury to be able to enjoy him after so many years".
Jonathan Felipe, Mayor of the municipality of Breña Alta said that "it has been a historic day for the municipality", he expressed the importance of being able to host a festival of these characteristics in the municipality, indicating that "it met the expectations of all attendees".
Felipe wanted to thank the Cabildo de La Palma for choosing his municipality for the closing concert of this III edition of La Palma Blue Experience.
