Digital Competences - Rural Area La Palma

La Palma, more connected than ever. And closer to you.
We're getting our (digital) act together to make living on the Isla Bonita even easier.
Welcome to your new citizen space. We know that on La Palma we like to do things slowly, but wasting time in a queue or driving kilometres on the road for a simple piece of paper... nobody likes that.

That is why we are launching this Citizen Digitalisation project. It doesn't matter if you are in Garafía, in Fuencaliente or in the centre of Santa Cruz; we want the administration to come to your living room.

We break the barriers (and skip the curves) so that you:

Solve your doubts without leaving home: Forget about scheduling. Your local council is now open 24/7 on your mobile.

Have your say: Participate, give your opinion and decide what happens in your neighbourhood or municipality with just a few clicks.

Leaving no one behind: We have designed this with everyone in mind. It doesn't matter if you are an "expert" or if you struggle with your mobile phone; everything here is simple, clear and straightforward.

Because digitalising La Palma is not about turning us into robots, it is about using technology to be more united and to dedicate ourselves to what matters: enjoying our island.

Technology with a human face: No one is left behind.

True innovation does not happen in machines, but in people. Our project is born with a clear mission: to bridge the digital divide and build bridges of opportunity for all.

No matter your age or previous experience, we're here to help you. From learning how to surf safely to running vital business from home, we give you the tools to take control of your digital life with confidence.

Because a digitised citizenry is a freer, stronger and more united citizenry.
