The event organisers are inviting runners, volunteers, clubs, collaborators and the general public to join some of the best runners on the international scene at a meeting to be held on Thursday 21 March, when the main sponsor of the event will also be announced.

This fourteenth edition of Transvulcania is full of novelties. One of them is the organisation of this first meeting between runners, volunteers, clubs and collaborators, who will join several international elite runners in a dream afternoon for trail lovers on the island in which, in addition, there will be some surprises such as the announcement of the main sponsor of the event for the next editions.

The meeting will take place next Thursday 21st March, at 20:00 hours, in the Benahoarita Archaeological Museum, and will be open until full capacity is reached, where you will be able to learn first-hand about some of the new features of this fourteenth edition. In addition, attendees will be able to have a tapa or a beer with some of the best trail runners on the international scene who will visit the island to meet with volunteers, runners and trail lovers on the island.

Training with elite runners.

But that's not the end of the news. The day after this meeting, on Saturday 23rd March, trail lovers will also have the opportunity to train with these three elite runners, enjoying a totally different morning running along the island's trails with the world's best trail runners, whose identities will be revealed in the coming days by the organisers.

The starting point for this training session will be the Faro de Fuencaliente lighthouse at 8:30 a.m., and the finishing point will be located in Los Canarios. The organisation will also provide a bus so that participants can return to pick up their vehicle in the starting area after finishing this experience. Registration for this training session is completely free and can be made on the website www.transvulcania.com. It should be noted that there will be a limited number of places available for this event.

The president of the Cabildo de La Palma, Sergio Rodríguez, calls for participation, both in the meeting and in the training, allowing to share with the best runners of the international scene a few days linked to the trail and the flagship race of the island.
