The La Palma Business and Trade Fair will be held in San Andrés y Sauces from 3 to 5 November.

Those interested can register from this Monday with a form available on the Sodepal website; this edition includes proposals made by the business associations and federations themselves.

The Cabildo de La Palma, through the public company Sodepal and within the framework of the project La Palma es Comercio, is organising the Feria Empresarial y Comercial palmera on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of November. According to the island institution, the event will take place in the Plaza de Montserrat in San Andrés y Sauces, and will promote local establishments.

"The aim is for businesses to showcase their products and services, share impressions with other attendees and generate new market opportunities," explains Miriam Perestelo, the Councillor for Economic Promotion and Digital Transformation of the Cabildo and CEO of Sodepal. And she calls on the entire population of La Palma to come and enjoy the commerce of La Palma, as well as other activities complementary to the event.

At the same time, the head of the Area encourages businesses and companies interested in participating to register using the form available at the following web address: https://www.sodepal.es/feria-business-and-commercial/ This mechanism will be operational until 11 October.

On the other hand, the island councillor for Trade, Fernando González, wanted to highlight the role of the business associations and federations represented on the island: "We have consulted them on how we could improve the development of the fair, and, based on their ideas, gathered at a meeting held at the beginning of the month, we have designed a renewed and innovative proposal".

In this respect, it should be noted that the fair will have a space for tasting local products, another for entertainment for the whole family (with a toy library service), and there will be various musical activities and parades. The programme also includes demonstrations of traditional arts and crafts.

And, as one of the main novelties of this edition, there will be a shuttle bus service that will connect the parking areas with the place where the event is held, as well as a circular route to visit the El Tendal Visitor Centre and other points of interest in the town in the north-east of La Palma free of charge.

To carry out the Business and Trade Fair, the Cabildo has the collaboration of the Town Council of San Andrés y Sauces, joined by other entities: Delegation of the Chamber of Commerce of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in La Palma, Federation of Business Associations (FAEP), Federation of Entrepreneurs of La Palma (Fedepalma), ZCA of the Historic Centre of Santa Cruz de La Palma, Association of Entrepreneurs, Professionals and Self-Employed of the capital (AEPA), Association of Small and Medium Enterprises of Breña Alta (Pymesbalta), Association of Companies of Breña Alta (Asemba), ZCA Los Llanos de Aridane, Asociación de Comerciantes Zona Abierta Aridanense (ACZA), Asociación de Empresarios El Paso Crece, Asociación de empresarios profesionales y autónomos macenses (ASEPAMA), Asociación de Empresarios de Tazacorte (Coemta), Asociación de Comerciantes y Empresarios de San Andrés y Sauces (ACE) and the Asociación de Empresarios y Comerciantes de Breña Baja.
