Movistar+'s Maraton Man filming in La Palma this weekend

The television programme Marathon Man which broadcasts on the #0 television channel of the platform Movistar+ will film one of its chapters this weekend on the island of La Palma, according to a press release from the Cabildo. The Tourism Service of the Cabildo and the office of the La Palma Film Commission - an entity dependent on the public company Sodepal - are collaborating in the filming of this audiovisual.

"It is very positive that these recordings are made in La Palma, not only because of their effect on the tourism sector thanks to the projection of the island's image, but also because of the economic dynamism generated by the promotion of the audiovisual sector," she said.

"La Palma is going through a very interesting time, as more and more production companies are coming to our island to shoot their spots, programmes, films...", De Paz pointed out.

Marathon Man is a production of Zanskar for #O on Movistar+. The programme features Raúl Gómeza runner who travels the world in search of the most curious, toughest and most extreme races on the planet. In the case of La Palma, Maraton Man will dedicate its content to how the island is an ideal destination for outdoor sports.
