Isla Bonita Moda presents 'BONITA' at the new edition of the Gran Canaria Swim Week by Moda Cálida, a tribute to the nature of La Palma.

Isla Bonita Moda participates in the new edition of the Gran Canaria Swim Week by Moda Cálida, where it has just presented the project 'Bonita' through an initiative that bets on the collaborative synergy between five firms adhered to the fashion programme promoted by the Cabildo de La Palma, through Sodepal. Ban, Julia Brito, Rayco Plata, Sara Luis Joyas and Shamelu were the main protagonists and creators of this project that pays tribute to the flora and fauna of the Canary Island of La Palma, as well as its beautiful landscapes, and which emerges as a celebration of the identity of La Palma, integrating the creativity and talent of local designers.

Each brand has brought their unique vision, interpreting the natural beauty of La Palma through their fashion and accessory collections. This participation, which has been warmly welcomed by the fashion programme Gran Canaria Moda Cálida, not only seeks to enhance the aesthetics of La Palma's privileged nature, but also to promote key messages such as cooperation, the enhancement of our historical heritage and sustainability.

The CEO of Sodelap, Miriam Prestelo, stresses that the collaboration is enriched by the special participation of La Palma Artesanía and also the silk of Las Hilanderas de El Paso, with materials that are incorporated into the collection so that traditional and authentic elements reflect the rich cultural heritage of the island through a responsible, limited and local production. "This joining of forces between creatives and artisan hands represents a significant step towards the consolidation of a fashion industry that is more conscious and aligned with the values of the Island", the Councillor emphasised.

The fashion show was accompanied by a visual experience that captures the essence of La Palma through its landscapes, while the cast of models wore pieces inspired by the exuberant nature that characterises the island. A journey through emblematic places such as the port of Santa Cruz de La Palma and its Avenida Marítima; which takes us to the Villa and Puerto de Tazacorte to meet the fishermen and their nets among the rocks, and which also takes us to the landscapes of the city of El Paso with its plains, meadows and rocks full of tederas and bejeques, crowned by the majestic flight of the rook. In this way, Miriam Perestelo stresses, "a tribute to La Palma that shows how fashion can be a platform for celebrating and preserving the beauty of our land".

Thus, the councillor also emphasised that this event allows the objectives of the Seal to continue, making it possible to promote the work done on the island in places of interest in the fashion world, valuing and making visible the creativity, quality and uniqueness of the designers of La Palma.
