The Cabildo de La Palma will be holding a new edition of the Business and Trade Fair with the aim of boosting the economy of the Aridane Valley. The event, which will take place from 12th to 14th April in Llano Tesa, in Los Llanos de Aridane, will include the participation of 47 companies from the island and a wide range of activities.

The event, organised by the Cabildo de La Palma, through the public company Sodepal, will be inaugurated on Friday 12th April at 12:00 noon.

Miriam Perestelo, head of Commerce and Economic Promotion of the Cabildo de La Palma and CEO of Sodepal, points out that this space gives visibility and impetus to local entrepreneurship, seeking the economic development of a key sector in the island's economy that generates employment.

This initiative allows residents and visitors to enjoy a weekend with a programme that, as well as focusing on supporting the business fabric, includes a wide range of leisure, cultural and gastronomic activities. 

It is worth highlighting this year's leisure programme, which includes music, children's shows and toy libraries. These activities will allow all families to have a great time.

Some educational centres will also collaborate in the event, such as the Pérez Pulido Secondary School, which will take part in the fair to promote the professional cycles of commerce and advertising.

In this way, the La Palma Business and Trade Fair has become an ideal initiative to support and promote the commercial sector this coming weekend.

Programme of activities at the La Palma Business and Trade Fair

During the more than 25 hours of the fair, there will be a wide range of activities aimed at all audiences in order to attract the attention of as many people as possible.

Prior to the opening of the event, a special radio programme will be broadcast on the occasion of the event. Afterwards, at 12:00 noon, the official opening of the fair will take place with public representatives and participants.

In the afternoon, at 16:00, there will be a scape room activity organised by Tazacorte Joven and, at 18:00, there will be a fabric painting craft workshop. At 18:30 Glitter Yara will bring together make-up and music in the fairgrounds of the event, followed at 19:30 by a musical performance by Los Dinos Band.

On Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. onwards, the toy library service will be set up so that families can enjoy the fair and visit the stands, while the little ones enjoy different activities. At the same time the scape room will be held again by Tazacorte Joven, and at midday there will be a gamer meeting led by Secuencia 27. At 12:30 it will be the turn of the show La Circoneta de Totó el Payaso.

On the afternoon of the same day, at 16:00, the sports challenge activity will be run by Awarabars and at 17:00 the public will be able to enjoy Glitter Yara once again. At 18:00 there will be another craft workshop, this time macramé. The day will end with a performance by Ni un pelo de tonto, starting at 19:30.

Sunday will start with a sports challenge activity run by Awarabars at 10:00 am. One hour later, the toy library service will resume and at 11:30 there will be a puppet workshop. The finishing touch will be a raffle with more than 4,000 euros in vouchers, divided into 46 vouchers worth 50 euros and six vouchers worth 300 euros to be spent in any of the participating companies at the fair.

The programme of activities has been developed taking into account a wide range of activities for the whole family and different age groups, with the aim of reaching a greater number of visitors.
