Isla Bonita Love Festival among the candidates for best music festival in the Canary Islands

The Isla Bonita Love Festival, a benchmark event for social and cultural diversity promoted by the Cabildo of La Palma, is a candidate to be recognised as the best musical event in the Canary Islands. In a candidacy made up of a total of six musical events, with the La Palma event being the only one that is not held on one of the capital islands.

The president of the Cabildo de La Palma, Sergio Rodríguez, emphasises that the Isla Bonita Love Festival is the festival with the greatest social and economic projection held on La Palma. A commitment of the island institution that has allowed to speak with capital letters of social inclusion and equality for all. A challenge that allows this festival to be identified as something more than just a concert.

She also points out that recognitions such as this come to endorse the Isla Bonita Love Festival brand and, above all, to value the hallmark of identity that it brings to the citizens of the island, where values such as tolerance and equality are present. "It is a source of pride for La Palma that events such as the Isla Bonita Love Festival can achieve such an important nomination. Equality and coexistence among all without distinctions is a fundamental pillar of our society, and that is what we work for every day", says Rodríguez.

The festival maintains a diverse line-up of local and international artists, including DJs, electronic music producers, live bands and performers of all kinds, and also includes a variety of other activities, such as workshops, art exhibitions and a social agenda that positively impacts other sectors of the island.
