The Plenary Hall of the Cabildo de La Palma hosted a coordination meeting between the representatives of the local councils of the island together with the first island administration represented by its president, Sergio Rodríguez; the councillor of Sports, Yurguen Hernández, and the delegate councillor of Sodepal, Miriam Perestelo.

A first coordination meeting that has served to lay the foundations for the necessary collaboration for the recovery of an event that undoubtedly could not take place without the collaboration of all the island's town councils.

In this sense, the president of the Cabildo, Sergio Rodríguez, has asked "everyone to row in the same direction to recover the roots that the race had in the people of La Palma, because there are things that transcend politics and that we have to take care of, and Transvulcania is one of them".

For his part, Yurguen Hernández, Councillor for Sports, thanked the local councils for their collaboration in "a strategic sporting event for the whole island in general, whose idiosyncrasy we have to recover together and the role of all the local councils in this goal we have set ourselves is fundamental".
